A total of around 1.000 participants is expected to participate in the conference, with high level participation from CERN, EMBL, ESA, ESO, ESRF, ESS, European XFEL, F4E and ILL . Due to this unique set-up of having the largest Big Science organisations in Europe as an integral part of the conference, the total outreach will be broader as the facilities will also use their communication channels to promote the BSBF2018.
